C ++ / Qt Developer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a C++ / Qt developer within Anritsu in Slovakia. Join our team which is working on development of top line products for telecommunication test and measurement purpose – handheld test and measurement devices, SW architecture, design and development.

In this role you will be responsible for design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and support of software components for the Anritsu product range or solutions for different customers. Your duties will include developing software implementations according to the specified standards and conventions. This role offers you working in a distributed international team and to gain deeper knowledge of the newest technologies like 3G, 4G. You will learn and understand communication standards and have the exciting opportunity to work with renowned world customers.
To join us in this role you will need to have:

• relevant degree in computer science and / or related field with at least 7 years of relevant experience
• tracked record of delivering clean and working designs and architectures for both small and large-scale projects; familiarity with distributed systems or service architectures desired, but not required
• good foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• working knowledge of software development life-cycle including requirements analysis and review, design, implementation, and testing
• programming languages: C++ advanced level is a MUST
• working knowledge of QT framework, Design Patterns, OOD, OOP – UML
• experience with Windows and LINUX operating systems, shell scripting, python
• experience with systematic software development methodologies (according to an internal development life-cycle) is a plus
• a ‘team worker’ who actively participates in discussion within the team, good communication skills
• english language is a MUST, both, written and spoken forms
• being capable of traveling
• ability to work independently and as part of a team
• positive attitude to change
• self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
• demonstrate creativity and initiative in approach to work
