Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
a) Professional:
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, SAP (optional).
- Knowledge of international quality management standards, good
laboratory practice, food and environment safety is required.
(BRC, ISO, GLP, HACCP, GMP).
- Laboratory experience desired.
- Knowledge of Tate & Lyle products and product application
desired.
- Auditor skills required.
b) Additional:
- Ability to work in a team.
- Organizational talent and approach towards problem solving.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in one time.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Possibility to travel approx. 50% of the working time as required
from the position.
- Work closely with Supply Chain on audit schedule for toll
processors, cleaning stations and external warehouses and
follow up on execution.
- Perform approval and evaluation audits and assess compliance of
toll processors, cleaning stations and external warehouses to the
Tate & Lyle quality and food safety standards (except for those
handle by local Quality).
- Analyse audits findings, report them in a structure way to the
management, formulate corrective and preventive actions and
follow their status.
- Organize in a good and traceable way approval and audits
documentation.
- Assist with trainings on the approval and auditing system.
- Organize and follow up of the quality part for toll processors
production – specifications, packaging, CoAs, release and
monitoring parameters, frequency of analyses, analytical
methods, external laboratory analyses, customer complaints,
legal requirements toll processors certifications.
- Provide product information such as product specifications,
nutritional data, technical data, MSDS, religious certifications,
quality audits and certifications…
- Prepare and provide regulatory and requested statements
(regulatory compliance, GMO status, contaminants…).
- Provide technical information to customers (related to processes,
product control, ingredients, packaging…).
- Completes customer questionnaires and surveys.
- Coordinates and approves with Product management and Quality
special customer quality and shipping requirements.
- Negotiates specification differences with customers.
- Register products on customer requested systems.
- Completes and provide documents for regular customer
approvals.
- Coordinates customer audits.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer service and Quality related to
customer/product issues.
- Performs other specifically assigned tasks related with the
position.
