Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Tasks:
• All A&F duties (bookkeeping, cash-flow analysis, tax, etc.) for Slovak, German, Polish, Spanish and French branches, with the support of our external tax and accounting advisors in each country;
• Coordination of A&F with the mother company in Italy
• Direct contact with our local credit institutes
• Human Resources, payrolls, contracts for Ambra Slovakia only, with the support of our local job advisor in Bratislava.

Personality requirements and skills

We look for:
• High-level school education on bookkeeping and administration;
• At least 10 year experience in bookkeeping in an international firm, preferably dealing with import & export of raw materials (experience in a plastics or chemical firm is a plus, but not a requirement);
• Strong knowledge of the German national tax and accountancy system; specific experience in German firms, or in contact with German tax system, is a strong plus;
• Good knowledge of A&F and tax law for European and international transactions (intercompany sales, European taxation, etc.)
• A&F experience in any other EU country is a plus;
• Very good knowledge of German and English; fluency in those two languages is a plus; other languages are not a relevant plus;
• The candidate should be willing to travel occasionally when required, to meet local European branches, tax advisors, credit institutes.
