Job description, responsibilities and duties
The key component of the payroll team is to pay our employees correctly and on time with the focus on process improvement, consistency and documentation.
The Senior eLearning Training Specialist will support our Global Payroll Academy Training Team, which is building training materials and modules for the payroll team.
The Training Specialist:
- develops and updates e-learning modules using Storyline with Payroll law and legislative content into a format that anyone with no payroll knowledge can learn and understand.
- builds effective working relationships with our partners in HR, subject matter experts, corporate leaders, various outside vendors and our learners to deliver on our customer promise.
- demonstrates extreme attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage often competing priorities.
- Is passionate customer and learner advocate, communicates clearly and concisely in a way which motivates others to action.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for development, a high level of flexibility, commitment, and the ability to tackle ambiguity and process improvement.
During the interview process, candidate will be required to submit a portfolio of eLearning modules he/she has created from scratch.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
-The ability to comprehend complex content (payroll law and legislation) and the ability to translate it into a format that anyone can understand and learn.
-Proven skills in an eLearning Software (ideally Articulate Storyline 2 or 360)
-Learning Management System Administration experience (ideally Cornerstone)
-English native or proficient
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Payroll or HR background
