Amazon.com in Bratislava office is looking for IT Support Technician to join existing IT team. He/She must have a good understanding of computer systems, has to demonstrate willingness to learn new technology and has to have good communication skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To provide a 1st and 2nd line support service that ensures all IT equipment and infrastructure is running to its optimum performance.
- To act as a point of contact for contractors or external suppliers and clearly communicate technical issues and Amazon standards.
- To audit, support and execute change management requests as required (which does include out of hours work).
- To carry out ad-hoc requests as and when required.

Qualifications:
- 1st Line support and service desk experience (1 year minimum)
- LAN, WAN and Wireless support experience and knowledge
- Holds an understanding of core internet technologies - DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
- Experience with Windows operating systems
- Experience in hardware support, fault finding and troubleshooting
- Positive, ‘can do’ attitude with a friendly and personable demeanor.
- Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills, both in Slovak and English language
