Job description, responsibilities and duties
Amazon Finance Operations is looking for and experienced Accounts Receivables Manager to support our continued EU expansion. The successful candidate would manage our operations across EU (mainly Germany, France, Italy & Spain) reporting to local Senior AR manager but cooperating with a broad management team across the globe.
Main business areas:
- Leading and developing team leaders, who in total lead a team of 20 financial analysts, including hiring, training, and employee development
- Contact management (managing vendors questions and complaints through our online tools)
- Performance management of our vendor contact division & cash collection division
- Creation and management of our KPI’s
- Executive metrics reporting
- Responsible for Germany, France, Italy & Spain
- This position will also act as an escalation point in resolving complex outstanding issues with internal and external business partners
- Solving complex customer/vendor issues and proactively heading off negative service trends

- 10+ years of experience in managing an Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable/Accounting department, in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment
- 3+ of proven track record of managing people (10+), ideally in structure
- Fluent in English and ideally German
- A strong passion for hiring and developing people
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and concisely and present numerical data effectively
- Proven track record from operations, financial background
- 3+ of proven track record of managing people (10+), ideally in structure
- Fluent in English and ideally German
- A strong passion for hiring and developing people
