Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

The HR Assistant supports the local site and ensures smooth execution of HR programs and initiatives. The HR Assistant will report into the Country HR Lead. The individual will work across all businesses on site.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

HR Admin
- Maintain the confidentiality and completeness of employee personnel records and files in accordance with legal requirements and best practice;
- Support the HR country lead (for country projects/programs, offsite’s, team activities, PO’s)
- Act as first point of contact for HR Services escalations
- Ensure that our Inside Amazon pages for the country are current and ensure compliance with legal/statutory requirements
- Support Employee Forum Elections, track HR follow up deliverables resulting from EF meetings

Program Management
- Facilitate the monthly New Hire Induction in country, ownership for the content and evolution of the Induction program in alignment to the global/EU onboarding program Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Tracking and Supporting the HRBP’s and Country lead in all Talent Management processes.
- Support the implementation of new policies for the country/site
- Supporting the HRBP’s in the implementation and tracking of local Diversity programs or initiatives
- Be responsible for the nomination process and procuring the awards for awards
- Support the HRBP and Country lead in all HR programs, such as leadership round-tables, manager forums, etc.
- Create and own HR communication such as Newsletter, updating notice boards, submitting intranet local news items
- Ad hoc EU or international project involvement

L&D
- Point of Contact for all L&D activities in the country or onsite, responsibility for the training calendar for the site and Knet administration (incl. room bookings/catering and training evaluations), coordination of all trainings/trainers
- Responsible for the smooth organization of any Health & Safety Trainings or activities (flu shots, etc.)
- Organize and facilitate Employee training sessions as applicable, such as the Q1 Performance Process, RSU Training for Employees
- L&D reporting as necessary

Business Analyst/Reporting
- Develop actionable and proactive reports based on selected and agreed upon HR metrics;
- Design reports to key stakeholders summarizing the data and key trends;
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve reporting processes for the HR community;

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Human Resources (preferred)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Slovak - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with MS Word, Excel
• Previous experience with Payroll Systems, HRIS
• 2+ years’ office administration required, including exposure to the human resources administrative functions
• Master`s Degree or equivalent
• Human Resources training and experience
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues
• Outstanding interpersonal skills: must display patience, humor and helpfulness at all times – front line contact for employee issues

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
• Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
