Your responsibilities include:

Playing a role in processing payroll for France
Verifying payroll data
Pre- and post-payroll administration
Processing and reconciling payroll transactions (relocation, stock, additional payments)
Employee communication and data administration
Documentation of work processes
Archiving
Participate in Kaizens and Greenbelts (Six Sigma) or other projects
Provide cover for other team members during sick and leave absences
General ad-hoc duties

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and French - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in corporate offices. Finance, accounting or payroll is an advantage.
Fluent in English
Minimum basic in French, better levels preferred
Ability to cope with change and meet challenging deadlines under pressure
Good analytical skills
Hands-on experience of data entry and data validation with an ability to carry such tasks out with a high level of discipline and accuracy
Positive/can do attitude as well as the ability to balance multiple priorities
Team player - excellent interpersonal skills but takes initiative and can also work independently
Customer focused - Employee support
Drive for operational excellence

Preferred Qualifications

Fluent in French
Experience in payroll and working with payroll environment and systems
PeopleSoft experience
Intermediate level Excel skills (Vlookup, other formulas, pivot tables)
Experience working within a multinational company/environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
