Amazon is looking for a self-driven Manager, Vendor Account Management & Vendor Recruiting who has a proven track record of delivering results and leading teams.

The role interfaces with multiple product groups and category leaders to grow sales on Amazon.com. He/she leads a team with varied levels of experience and owns the end-to-end vendor on-boarding, from identifying prospects brands and leads to qualifying them, on-boarding their full selection on all 5 EU websites, account managing the vendors and resolving operational or logistics issues that impact our customer. The manager will own key metrics used to develop customer insights in driving innovation, and will leverage these insights to drive vendor participation in marketing, merchandising and promotional activities in order to drive overall business growth.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced people leader, preferably with experience of the retail industry or e-commerce segment, with a reputation for being a business builder, and for hiring and developing the best teams.

Key responsibilities include:

- Describes strategic importance of vision inside and outside of team.
- Effectively coaches and gives feedback to direct reports to help develop talent and support career development.
- Sets and articulates expectations around leadership behavior for team; models behavior that exemplifies the leadership principles.
- Implements Amazon’s best recruiting practices and continuously raises the bar for hiring.
- Sets goals and holds team accountable for achieving those business goals.
- Develops long-term strategies and significantly influences vendors’ on-boarding processes and standards as well as vendor account management.
- Develops and implements action plans based on deep-dive analysis on specific product line or marketplace metrics.
- Identifies areas that need vendor attention and directs team to address issues; acts as escalation point, helping team and vendor(s) resolve conflicts.
- Audits all elements of multiple cross-category processes.
- Identifies scalable changes to the team that automate the on-boarding management process and enhance the vendor experience.
- Works with internal technical, cross-category, and tech teams to drive multi-system process changes.
- Provides recommendation on business opportunities and long-term strategy for multiple sub-categories.

Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Statistics, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain or Engineering.
- Experience in building and developing a high performance team.
- Professional experience influencing internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - prioritization, planning and task delegation.
- Supply chain, inventory management, finance, vendor and/or project management experience.
- Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in analysis tools including Microsoft Excel, SQL, and statistics software.
- Proven ability to manage large and complicated projects with experience leading cross-functional projects and teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing a customer service environment preferred. Desire to expand skills into new areas.
- MBA Preferred.
