About the role
The successful candidate will lead a team of 7-15 people + multiple Team-leads, with potential to extend up to 20, which ensures that our financial operations are prepared for our continued expansion. This will include managing a team that works with our non-Retail and Operations teams to ensure we service our vendors and customers in a manner fitting with our "Customer Obsession" philosophy.
Main focus, will be Amazons cash-flow and cash collection activities with focus on EU business expansion in direct business customer field (Advertising, Web-services, Product Adds).
The successful candidate will have a strong desire in innovating processes and exceed expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, primarily driving innovation on behalf of customers / vendors.

People Management:
Leading and developing a team of AR Analysts and Team Leaders, including hiring, training, and employee development; managing group workload and establishing priorities; ensuring existing policies and procedures are followed; managing annual performance targets and operating budget; creating and monitoring appropriate performance metrics. This position will also act as an escalation point in resolving complex outstanding issues with internal and external business partners.


Project Management:
Solving complex customer/vendor issues and proactively heading off negative service trends. Understanding and correctly utilizing resources provided by internal systems, departments, policies, and procedures. Development, analysis and improvement of new strategies and procedures. You will have the ability to develop, plan, and implement short and long-range goals. Developing and achieving performance goals and objectives in order to achieve business expectations.
A successful candidate is expected to be a part of a global team focusing on AR vision creation, Tools enhancement and development as well as being the key for further Amazon expansion.

Basic Qualifications:

- Being fluent in English. Any other language skills, primarily German, French, Italian or Spanish would be of great advantage.
- Proven track record of managing teams of 15+.
- Previous experience in customer service or finance field.
- Degree from a finance area would be more than welcome.
- Proven track record of process improvement and business development.
- Proficient in MS Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Being fluent in English & German. Any other language skills would be of great advantage.
- University degree from a finance area.
- BPI Yellow, Green or Blackbelt certified.
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Access and Visual Basic + SQL skills would be welcome.
- Previous FP&A (Financial planning & analysis) experience.
