Finance Analyst - Travel & Expense for Poland

- Process Travel & Expense reimbursement for Poland, Slovak and Czech republic in accordance with internal control standards (Receive and attach receipts and cover pages submitted via scanning, email and mail to submitted Expense Reports; Provide customer service support).
- Perform pre-audits on flagged expense reports and post audits on random expense reports; Facilitate document archiving and retrieve documents requested for audits.
- Plan and organize work so the Service Level Agreement objectives are realized; successfully handle most non-routine issues, escalate issues that cannot be resolved to management; Contributes ideas and actions towards the continuous improvement of Travel & Expense related processes within area of influence.
- Understand and apply Travel & Expense processes, policies, procedures and internal control standards
- Audit and approve T&E expense reports on an as needed basis for Divisions, Regional Groups and Corporate locations - this includes:
- Ensure expense reports are in compliance with appropriate
guidelines and requirements based on Corporate Policy, IRS
guidelines and specific exceptions as determined by the divisions
- Maintain T&E policy exceptions by respective divisions as
necessary
- Review accounting on expense reports
- Verify receipts for expenses over $25
- Generate and review various system reports
- Communicate discrepancies to policy to T&E requestor and
approvers as appropriate
- Answer questions from employees received via phone calls and
email
- Report statistics to upper management
- Process incoming mail containing expense reports and other
related materials
