Account Manager - Finance Operations

Job description, responsibilities and duties

The successful candidate will be a member of the Global Finance Operations and will be responsible for vendor experience and complex dispute management.

Responsibilities will include:

- Identifying root causes of problems in finance, supply chain or in internal Amazon systems and leading the initiative of fixing these problems- conduct follow-up tasks, communicate opportunities for improvement and agree action plans
- Acting as a main point of contact for TOP Amazon vendors, with the goal to develop strong business relationships, create mutual trust, and resolve any conflicts to avoid shipment holds or other business interruption
- Conducting reviews and identifying vendor accounts that are likely to become a delivery hold situation and pro-actively working on their account balances
- Addressing any account related inquiries and concerns from vendors and ensuring vendors know to use the Amazon tools

Requirements for the employee

Required education

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) or German - Upper intermediate (B2) or
French - Upper intermediate (B2)

Required experience


Personality requirements and skills

- University degree in finance, management, international relations, sales or diplomacy
- Excellent language skills - English (written & spoken)
- Excellent language skills - French OR German (written & spoken)
- Ability to communicate and present complex analysis/data clearly and concisely
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Analytical skills with the ability to get into the detail, while also seeing and understanding the bigger picture
- Advanced Excel and Advanced SQL skills are advantageous
- Experience with Oracle Financials is an advantage
- Experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable field is an advantage
