Job description, responsibilities and duties
Amazon's Seller Marketplace is a large and rapidly growing business where millions of customers transact with hundreds of thousands of sellers, who range from individuals to large retailers. In this context Amazon is looking for a talented, German-speaking Team Lead based in Bratislava to support the international seller business on the European Amazon websites.
In this role as Team Lead you will manage a team of specialists and report to the Site Leader for Listing Services. You will manage various projects to enhance the quality of our product catalog with the goal of improving the buying experience of our customers.
To do this you will need to:
- Use phone and e-mail communication with different international stakeholders from across Amazon and with Sellers themselves
- Ensure that the team are set clear goals and help them to focus on delivering them in the most effective way
- Provide on-going support and feedback to Specialists via regular 1:1s and team meetings with a focus on improving productivity and quality of the team
- Use internal tools and run queries to extract attribute details for items that need to be worked upon to fix the detail page defects
- Correct and enhance existing content of products that have high visibility on the Amazon website but show poor content
- Communicate with Sellers who have a high percentage of detail page defects and guide them to resolve the defects by using self-service options available on Amazon Seller Central
- Build knowledge repository for the process followed to fix detail page defects and update and improve SOP (standard operating procedure)
- Relentlessly look to research, identify, evaluate, rationalize and propose business opportunities for the Merchant Services group.

- Previous experience team lead/coordinator, or supervisory role from a similar environment
- Good communication skills in written and oral German and English with the ability to face internal partners in a professional and mature manner
- Attention to detail, good in prioritization and high capabilities to work on different projects in parallel
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment and passion for delivering great customer experience is required
- Interest in e-Commerce/Online Business
- Strong prioritization and time management skills, with a high degree of flexibility
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide feedback in one to one and group sessions.
