ALTATERRA manufactures and sells high quality roof windows and associated products to retailers across Europe.
We were born in 2001, a new start up within the privately owned Danish Group VKR Holdings, and a sister company to the overwhelmingly leading company in the roof window market – VELUX.
15 years later, ALTATERRA is European market leader within the private label segment, and successfully moved from a 1 to a 4 brand strategy. We have sales in 30 countries, 120 employees (and 12 nationalities) across Europe selling our products, and a turnover of around € 30 million per year. We are the 4th biggest European roof window company.
We achieved this because of great value products, but more importantly because we have a team of people who want to be better than anybody else in our industry. People who take responsibility, who work hard for results, who seek solutions and who never sit and wait for solutions to find them.
And now we want to go further– from number 4 to number 2 on the market; all over Europe.
We want to do that with the same kind of people, but broader objectives.
