CALLING ALL LINGUISTS
We are recruiting Linguists, Translators, Editors, Reviewers and functional and linguistic testers for most languages of the world, to work at our headquarters in Cambridge (for some positions, other offices are an option). Some of our current main requirements are for Czech, Danish, English, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian and Slovak, but others may be of interest too.
ALPHA has been at the forefront of the translation/localization universe since 1987 and is a Global Top 10 Localization Provider. We run an in-house production model for the world's most demanding companies, with people from over 50 countries.
We are recruiting Linguists, Translators, Editors, Reviewers and functional and linguistic testers for most languages of the world, to work at our headquarters in Cambridge (for some positions, other offices are an option). - Competent linguist with high standard of written skills in your mother tongue
- Good level of English (written and oral)
- Experience as a translator, proofreader, editor, or reviewer, content creator, terminologist, apps or games tester in a professional capacity
- Degree-level education (in Translation, Journalism, IT ...)
- Good level of computer aptitude, including apps, bug reporting, CAT tools
- Keen eye for detail (spotting linguistic and formal errors)
- Professional attitude, disciplined way of working
- Capable of picking up new skills quickly
- Enjoy being a member of a team, but also capable of working autonomously
