Job description, responsibilities and duties
The position will be based in Bratislava or the surrounding area.
Primary responsibilities:
• Establish a market position by locating and developing prospects; and, negotiating and closing agreements with business partners.
Primary duties:
• Identify and attend business events, representing the company and prospecting for customers
• Locate and propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities
• Identify market trends, including opportunities and threats in the Slovakian market
• Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
• Coordinate and execute local marketing strategies
• Maintain first class relationships with key customer accounts
• Maintain first class relationships with local suppliers
• Grow the business locally in Slovakia in line with targets set out by head office
• Update job knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations
• Enhance the company’s reputation by taking ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
