Job description, responsibilities and duties
Alfa Laval Central Europe is looking for an Accountant/Controller for our office in Bratislava.
Job Objective
• Daily booking of the accounting transactions for our sales organization in Slovakia
• Responsiibility for correct and timely preparation of VAT, CIT, other tax or other local reporting obligations
• Cooperation with the company auditors, bank and suppliers of the services for the branch office
• Regular reporting to the mother company and controlling financial performance of the SK organization
• Control and implementation of the company guidelines
• Perfom other administrative tasks related to company branch office
• Close cooperation within the finance team of Alfa Laval Central Europe (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary)
Competence Profile
• University degree
• Minimum 2 years previous experience within the finance/accounting
• Knowledge of Slovak accounting and tax regulations
• Native Slovak/Czech, fluent English language and advanced computer literacy (mainly MS Excel)
• Experience with some ERP system, experience with iScala is an advantage
• Communicative team player
• Independent responsible person with strong sense for organized and systematic work
• Able to be flexible and tolerate stress and time pressure in periods of high workload

The position will be located in our Bratislava office, and is starting
as soon as possible. Position is reporting to the Finance and Administration manager of Alfa Laval Central Europe.
