Job description, responsibilities and duties
International translation agency Albion Languages is looking for an agile and capable Branch Manager to direct all work performed at its Bratislava branch and to supervise day-to-day operation. You will manage staff, encourage a productive environment and ensure proper branch operation and customer satisfaction. You will also handle project management tasks for certain key clients/projects.
Branch Manager tasks:
• Ensuring seamless co-operation and integration with other Albion offices, including flow of information and workload sharing
• Providing training, coaching, development and motivation to team members, leading by example
• Active participation in various operational aspects including human resources, administration and customer service in accordance with the company’s objectives
• Overseeing team members’ work, setting internal deadlines and rearranging tasks as needed
• Listening to team members’ feedback and resolving any issues
• Suggesting and organizing meetings and teambuilding activities
Project Management tasks:
• Organising and monitoring translation projects from beginning to end
• Managing client/supplier queries
• Tracking work allocations
• Checking quality with translation QA tools
Minimum requirements:
• University degree in translation studies
• 2+ years’ experience in translation project management
• Slovak native speaker
• Excellent knowledge of English
Proficiency in German would also be appreciated.
