Job description, responsibilities and duties

Work Hours: Flexible 8 hour time period between 12:00 and up to 22:00 with weekly rotations of shifts of 12:00 – 20:00 and 14:00 – 22:00.

Job Description:
Lead, manage and mentor a team of medical billers while also communicating requirements and questions with U.S. clients and U.S. insurance companies.
Build strong rapport and relationship with the Application Development Lead, Database Development Lead, Chief Architect and the General Manager.
Manually file and complete web forms on various health insurance web site on behalf of U.S. medical care providers.
Document procedures and processes for billing specific types of medical claims.
Communicate with medical care providers in the United States via email and phone.
Communicate with health insurance payers about the status of claims via email and phone.

Required Qualifications:
Ability to communicate in English—must be able to communicate with US customers via email and phone.
Demonstrate ability to learn and apply US medical billing rules and procedures.
Demonstrate ability to learn and use the AffinityAnalytics billing platform.
Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in American Studies, Accounting, or Law.
Have the ability to travel to the United States of American upon request for up to 1 week—must possess a valid Slovak passport.
Have the ability to lead, manage and develop a growing team of medical billers.
