Our customer is a well-known global company and market leader within the consumer industry selling more than 40 million products to customers in over 150 markets every year. The company focuses on innovations that are thoughtfully designed, based on extensive consumer insight, to meet the real needs of consumers and professionals.
We are looking for a highly senior Marketing Director CEE, focusing on leadership and implementation and operational marketing activities to support each local country business.
Strong focus will be on customer and product mix for better profitability – the Marketing Director will be expected to drive differentiated channel strategies to increase shares within each channel, both in terms of profitability, value and volume.
The new Marketing Director needs to be a strong, mature and confident modern leader, who will through communication and professional leadership skills, be a role model and take active part in the transformation of developing and growing the business.
The main objective for the Marketing Director is to find a successful local strategy for each market, emphazising on cost efficient activities such as digital marketing, rather than TV commercials etc.
Your experience:
• Minimum 10 years experience in broad consumer marketing and trade marketing management
• Experience from a global company with matrix structure in the Eastern Europe region
• Marketing Director with CEE responsibility
• 3 - 5 years leading multifunctional teams

Required education

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Skills

Language skills:
English - intermediate

Personality requirements and skills

Your knowledge:
• Knowledge in marketing planning and activation across multiple brands and complex product categories and cross countries/regions
• Brand / marketing management with strong understanding of 360 consumer marketing
• Proven track record in people and organizational development and leadership.
• Proven track record in customer management and relationship building.
• Sales and marketing knowledge from consumer goods, preferably semi-durables
• You are strong communicator at all levels of the organization.
