For our Bratislava Business Center we are currently seeking to recruit a
Senior VAT Specialist
for our Finance Tax department.
Your responsibilities:
Support on the VAT process design for EMEA which lays out the processes and roles and responsibilities of the various stakeholders for Indirect Tax
Support on VAT related ERP projects across the EMEA region
Manage required corrections of master data and transactional data
Assist in maintaining a proper VAT logic and coding in the ERP systems across the EMEA region.
Support the development and the maintenance of internal controls/policies to minimize VAT exposure and maximize VAT opportunities
Analyze, adapt and implement VAT relevant legislation changes in operative processes
* Provide targeted, relevant training to Business, Shared Service and Tax Function employees.

Requirements for the employee
Candidates with education suit the position
Secondary with school-leaving examination
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
* Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Finance or Tax with focus on Finance and/or Accounting
* Team player with a positive 'can do’ attitude.
* Use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions for challenges and obstacles
* Good SAP knowledge
* Good VAT knowledge
* Sound knowledge of accounting principles and related procedures
* Good communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational and planning skills.
* Advanced oral and written English language skills;
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
* Ability to work ethically and with full integrity when making time sensitive or difficult decisions.
* Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the area of indirect taxes
