Job description, responsibilities and duties
For our Bratislava Business Center we are currently seeking to recruit an Buyer Travel Operations for purchasing department.
Your Responsibilities:
Day to day operations management with Travel Agency and main Travel suppliers
Management of the delivery of services for our global travel agencies, airlines, car rentals and hotels
Support Travel Strategy team with their saving opportunities
Negotiate rates with some of our hotels in Europe that are not a part of chains but used by the company
Create and monitor the list of suppliers that are on the list compared with the highly utilized hotels in our network based on spend
Review of new products and tools offered by agencies; Implementations of new tools as deemed appropriate in alignment with Travel Strategy team and global applicability
Conduct audits of the online travel tool
Maintain travel suppliers database; Approvals of purchase orders for travel commodity; approvals of supplier add/change requests
Work with suppliers to ensure policy compliance and traveler satisfaction
Communication and awareness to the business on travel policies and requirements
Regular update on the SharePoint site
Work with Finance to standardize invoicing from Travel suppliers and support the resolution of invoicing issues

Candidates with education suit the position
Secondary with school-leaving examination
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
* Minimum 2-3 Years of Purchasing Experience or Equivalent Business Experience
* Bachelor’s Degree Business in Preferred
* Very good communication, networking and interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively and independently with other teams at different levels locally, regionally and globally
* Strong Project management skills. Able to manage multiple Projects teams with individuals of diverse background (gender, race, nationality and work experience)
* Decision Making - Able to make routine decisions independently and recognize non-routine problem situation
* Strong Analytical Skills
* Knowledge of industry Travel standards and practices will be preferred
* English language – fluent, other languages are advantage
* Bachelor’s Degree Business in Preferred
