HR IT Business Analyst (f/m)
 
Primary Purpose:
 
Completes tasks as assigned related to the requirements analysis, functional solution design, testing and deployment of technology-enabled solutions to the global Human Resources (HR) organization.  Partners with the HR community at various levels to determine business requirements and expectations.  Uses initiative and innovation to identify and analyze process improvements. Collaborates with the extended IT and HR teams to ensure alignment and consistency; and to ensure solutions meet stated objectives. 
 
Primary Duties:

Involvement into regional and global HRIT projects / initiatives (main focus: Global Workday Deployment,  Payroll and T&A strategy and global integrations, Performance and Learning Management)
Develops trusting relationships with the business, facilitates communication between IT and other internal and external colleagues, and gains commitment from the business to align solutions with business strategies
Assists in business process design or redesign and documentation
Uses analytical tools and insight to gather, refine, define and validate complex business requirements, interdependencies, potential risks and issues
Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications and manages changes to such specifications
Develops comprehensive quality assurance plans and executes a rigorous testing process.  Documents all test results and partners with developers for test resolution efforts
Works closely with HRIT team members and HRIT Operations to identify application support requirements and ensure smooth transition of development projects to support organization
Ensures global alignment and consistency while effectively balancing global, regional and local needs
* Manages change requests and demands within our company toolset and assists with facilitating project governance and corporate priorities

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related discipline.
* At least 4 years of functional experience in Business Analysis or related field
* Proven ability to analyze business requirements, create decision tables/trees, data flows, design effective technology-based solutions and deploy successfully.
* Business Analysis certification or Systems Analysis certification is a plus.
* Experience implementing technology in multiple countries across multiple regions of the world.  Proven understanding of cultural differences and ability to impact across cultures.
* Strong customer-focused and excellence-driven track record.  Demonstrated understanding of customer driven-products, services and solutions.
* Thorough understanding of and proven ability to follow disciplined quality assurance processes and practices.
* Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to present technical matters in a simple, clear and concise manner to the targeted audience. 
* Thinks creatively, conceptually and analytically and considers the wider consequences of each decision.  Has “big picture” awareness
* Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and basic skills in MS Visio or other process documentation tool
* Must be fluent in English, other languages are a plus.
* Willingness to travel nationally and internationally on a project basis (< 20%)
