Job description, responsibilities and duties
Input definition for tolerance calculation/simulation based on geometrical data and assembly sequence in close collaboration with Product Engineering and Manufacturing Departments
Execution of Tolerance Simulation for single parts, assemblies and whole products with application software VisVSA
Simulation of assembly process and fixture concepts
Simulation of product use in different positions based on kinematics
Reporting, interpreting and analyzing of simulation results
Concept validation and visualization of the design requirements
Consulting of our Engineering departments and the customers during establishment of tolerance requirements
Leading and/or contribution to GD&T workshops
Contribution to development of Global GD&T Standards
Contribution to development of Global VSA application standards
* Technical preparation of proposals for improvements of product design (e.g. fixing and positioning concept), manufacturing and assembly process based on results of tolerance simulation

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
* Education: Degree in engineering, vehicle construction or technician with comparable education and work experience
* Knowledge of quality (e.g. Datum/RPS system, Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, Statistical process control)
* Ideally knowledge of statistical tolerance investigation, 3D tolerance calculation software (e.g. VisVSA, 3DCS, Cetol, Enventive)
* English language on intermediate level
* High focus on customers satisfaction
* Good communication skills
