Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
· Functional reporting line to US Senior Group controller and BBC reporting line to Head office manager
· Ownership for assigned US ledgers
· Leading of Head office team – 5 FTEs
· Ongoing analysis of risks and opportunities for a specific entities (e.g., release of customer giveback accruals if not considered necessary anymore etc.)
· Full compliance with local and US GAAP accounting rules, SOX requirements and BOS procedures
· Approver of Shopping cards, BS reconciliations
· Ensure that external partners (e.g. PwC) and regional partners receive accurate and on-time information
· Drive studies with other Head offices and other JCI organizations to improve efficiencies and/or control environment
· Identify, communicate and resolve accounting issues for standardization with other head offices and compliance reasons (e.g., different accounts used for the same transactions leading to non-comparability)
· Month-end reporting – Headcount analyses, SINC, Bridges

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
· University Degree or equivalent
· 3-5 years of experience in financial area
· Solid knowledge of Finance and Accounting
· Process management skills and Leadership experience
· Organized and detail oriented
· Languages: English language – fluent, other – advantage
· MS Office – strong Excel skills
· SAP – advantage
· 1 week of afternoon shift during MEC required as the support of NA region (salary adjusted by special rate).
