Job description, responsibilities and duties

Are you experienced with leading of small and medium telecommunication projects ? We are currently looking for our top IT client in Košice IT Valley the position of Junior WAN System Architect. As a project lead you will be responsible for planning, steering and executing during presales and realization stage of “Smart Business Projects”.

Main responsibilities:
- Create basic IP-VPN WAN designs according product guidelines for Germany (TALIS)
- Create basic Point-to-Point Layer-2-WAN designs according product guidelines
- Cost calculations for German WAN: IP-VPN MPLS, E-VPN, Internet Access Bundles, Internet Access Remote Connect and Layer-2-WAN
- Use calculation tools “Plankostensammler”, PKS (German TC-cost-collector, MS-Excel based)
- Use of Web Interface Tool “IMPULS”
- Realization of project management for SBU Intraselect Projects

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

German - Upper intermediate (B2) and English - Intermediate (B1)

Personality requirements and skills

- Bachelor degree in Telecommunications or Computer Science
- 2-4 years working experience for Expert level and 1 year at minimum for Junior level
- German language - min. B2 – mandatory and English language - B1
- Knowledge of Telecommunications general, Wide Area Networks, IP-VPN MPLS, Layer-2-WAN and Internet Access Bundles
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
