We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive Company in the Nitra region. For Trim and Final Operation we are seeking a highly- motivated and flexible DC Tooling Calibration Engineer to support the creation of the Maintenance Department and all processes in respect to SC and CC connection with screw devices on the assembly line. This role will involve managing torque tools for data and interfacing with AME and CME department.
The successful candidate will be key to support the design and structure of the control system, to ensure OPR (OEE) targets are met, whilst minimising expense and improve MTTR and MTBF according to target of maintenance.

- To develop a spares management strategy for the Maintenance Department with DC tools parts.
- To identify and manage the ordering of spares parts to support the new facility.
- Identify and implement cost down opportunities to save revenue spend.
- Create and Manage spare parts (qty, key spare parts, minimal stock), including Warranty Management.
- Liaise with the Line Builders to develop the Preventive Maintenance System schedules.
- To develop all procedures and setup all process with DC Tools in Trim and Final.
- Tracking and checking all scheduling plan for calibration of all DC Tools.
- Responsible for all valid calibrations of DC Tools in assembly process.
- Develop Proactive, Condition Based Maintenance systems, using industy 4.0 techniques.
- Analyse spend on assets and develop improvements to reduce spend and improve MTTR/MTBF.
- Challenge supplier prices of spare parts and seek cost effective alternatives and support purchasing department.
- Develop Department documentation and manage processes.
- Preparing all analyses and reports from maintenance system daily, weekly and monthly base.
- Provide Financial Tracking (Usage of spare parts and stock in store) for Maintenance Manager.

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- Completion of college diploma or university degree in: Mechatronics / Electrical / Software Engineering on a BsC or MsC level, ideally in in an Automotive Manufacturing Technical Field with a preference to a Background with a Time served engineering apprenticeship or; Minimum of 6 year experience in Automotive Controls Systems / Facilities Management Background
- Broad knowledge of calibration systems, SPC,
- Excellence in developing processes for Managing Maintenance systems
- In depth knowledge of Safety and Environmental standards to be able to create risk assessments for industrial automation equipment
- A very Good knowledge of Google & MS Office Applications. (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word and Project)
- Strong people time management
- Pro-active strength of debugging and resolving key constraints, effective problem solving & root cause analysis using adequate toolsets
- Experience of specifying and installing new automation to realise productivity targets
- Develop strong effective working relationships with key customers, supplier companies and adjacent departments
- Raise and Manage Orders and small Projects or technical changes
- Pride, analytical ability, organizational skills and attention to detail and ability to take own responsibility
