We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive Company in the Nitra region. We are hiring for the position of SENIOR OPERATIONAL LEADER. The successful candidate will be key to support the design of the newly developed production systems and will thereafter lead daily production in regard to the line control systems. He/ she will also support to determine and drive controls architecture on various levels such as line controls and operation monitoring systems. Next to insurance of daily production the successful candidate will support engineering activities for architecture and standardization, will be key in regard to determine and implement future strategies. He will be responsible for PM planning and done all tasks from PM with his team of maintenance team. He will be substitute for maintenance manager during his business trips.
This role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager

- Support and drive the development of production ready equipment controls architecture for direct line control as well as data acquisition from automatic sysstem and monitoring systems including code and hardware components
- Ensure PLC ladder logic with an emphasis on generating code that is organized, structured, documented, maintainable and reusable and enables effective fault analysis and efficient fast error recovery
- Participate in the creation of a Maintenance Organisation.
- Support and ensure R&M friendly principles into design and build phases for PLC code and electrical cabinet builds, field wiring, pneumatic and fluid plumbing Including highly efficient standard for adequate documentations and record retentions
- Support the development strategy for future technologies, enhanced standard definitions and continuous improvements projects for equipment and facilities
- Plans, organizes and develop the Maintenance Shift Structure
- Support build and commissioning of manufacturing facilities during new model launches
- Ensure a reliable control & safety systems under no compromise for safeguarding robots, gantries, conveyors, and other high volume manufacturing equipment at any time to secure people and assets
- Manage a team of Technicians and Shift Leader Trim and Final, form and participate in competency team throughout the entire operation for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement actions
- Responsible for ensurance of equipment functionality and responsibility for production KPIs such as uptime OPR and Cycle Time and enegry consumption monitiorng including efficiency projects for waste and energy reduction
- Lead technical issue resolution process and fault recovery with proven problem solving methods within Shift

Personality requirements and skills

- Completion of college diploma or university degree in: Mechatronics / - Electrical / Software Engineering, ideally in an Automotive Manufacturing Field with a preference to a Background with a Time served engineering ,Minimum of 8 year experience in Automotive or High Speed manufacture.
- Experience in managing a team on a daily basis

- Broad knowledge of programming and maintaining automations, robotics, motion controls, PLC’s and HMI’s. Understanding requirements for complex processing equipment for welding, riveting dispensing, inline measurement systems and inspection
- Flexibility in working patterns and approaches to achieve Overall business goals
- Ability to drive Continuous improvements in target agreement (TA), OPR
- In depth knowledge of Safety standards to be able to create risk assessments for industrial automation equipment
- Strong people management and leadership skill
- Pro-active strength of debugging and resolving key constraints, effective problem solving & root cause analysis using adequate toolsets
- Ability to lead a team during complex problem solving
- Develop strong effective working relationships with key customers, supplier companies and adjacent departments
- Pride, analytical ability, organizational skills and attention to detail and ability to take tremendous responsibility

- Good knowledge of Google & MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word and Project)
- Proficient English and Slovakian language skills
