Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Support subject matter expert for M&C, roll out the strategy to ensure 100% compliance to the MQOS procedure deck & TS16949 relating to M&C audit standards). Report on plant M&C status for MQOS non conformances and corrective action and status to plant management Leadership team and company quality records.
- Lead Metrology and Calibration Group Leaders
- Support the rollout of the Statistical Process Control for each Technology aligned to the M&C Control
- Support the standardised calibration audit checks within the plant – Torque Integrity Assurance Process (TIAP), Weld Teardown, Equivalent Body Hole Size (EBHS) & Sample Water Test, Static and Dynamic and Engineering Specification Testing.
- Support and Lead the M&C Manufacturing Audits throughout the site within all technology areas.
- Report-out Site M&C Quality KPI’s and Product Audit performance including corrective actions for concerns identified.
- Support the plant lead for external (e.g. VCA) audit planning and facilitation to gain and maintain the company accreditation.
- Concern, definition and problem analysis will be an integral part of the job, as will liaison with Company Quality Coaches and audit teams to ensure continued compliance to company and plant level procedures.
- Interface with Company Quality to ensure key procedures are being adhered to, and helping to develop continuous improvements processes.
- Support and maintain departmental Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale targets
- Support the M&C Quality facility installations.
- Measure calibrations to determine accuracy , precision, reliability and traceability for M/C Process

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- Experience in procedure adherence, control and auditing in a manufacturing environment (e.g.TS-16949, APQP, SPC, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans)
- Experience in leading teams within in a manufacturing high output environment
- Good statistical and numerical reasoning skills
- Ability to support cross functional teams
- Ability to collect, collate and communicate data effectively to all levels within the Company is essential
- Proven Problem Solving skills
- Experience 5 years minimum in a similar role
- Experience of Homologation / Calibration audit compliance within a manufacturing environment
