Job description, responsibilities and duties

Key member of the local HR team – supporting the business in delivering HR Operational objectives for site set-up and continuation into business as usual. Case Management & Projects Team Leader will act as interface with Employee representatives for assigned area of responsibility, ensuring partnership approach is adopted and maintained in line with agreed ER strategy.

Main Responsibilities:
- Delivers agreed Engagement agenda across assigned business area – recognition, reward, employee relations, engagement and culture.
- Forge and form the right relationships with employee representatives for assigned area
- Provide support on Trade Union/Employee Representative interfaces
- Support delivery of all ER Planning processes and practices in appropriate and timely manner.
- Ensuring adherence to Global, Core and Local governance structure, ensure an effective suite of HR Policies, Processes and Procedures are developed and communicated for the JLR Slovakia.
- Develop, deploy and utilise appropriate metrics to identify opportunities to improve performance in engagement and employee relations
- Manage day to day ER issues on site
- Drives the implementation of Zero Harm and Wellbeing Charter work
- Support all HR cycle plan activities

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- Employee Relations experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of the Labour Code
- English language skills (minimum B2 level)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of organisation and flexibility of approach
- Strong team player and positive leadership capability
- Ability to proactively liaise with external organisations
- Experience of implementing processes and policies in line with the Labour Code
- Automotive or Manufacturing experience
