Job description, responsibilities and duties
We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive company Jaguar Land Rover in the Nitra. We are hiring for the position of Current Manufacturing Engineers.
The role will be responsible for current manufacturing engineering in final assembly and off track areas operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing manufacturing engineering support to production assembly teams to ensure that the objectives of safety & ergonomics, quality, cost and efficiency
- Continuous process improvements (RFT, right first time) using the Integrated Production System and Lean manufacturing principles such as Kaizen, Poke-Yoke, and 5S
- Ensuring all engineering changes are controlled to comply with corporate and regulatory requirements, conduct line trials
- Supporting the introduction of new products & processes into the existing manufacturing area with correct documentations and delivered on time and of the highest quality to meet customer demands
- Maintaining PFMEA, control plan and reaction plans. Responsibility for department equipment, tools, devices (incl. calibration)
- Supporting tooling and capital acquisition activities and validating the new and existing equipment capability
- Technical Problem solving, including use of dimensional data for root cause analysis
- Developing safe working practices
- Working with manpower planning to develop efficient assembly processes
- Adherence of Jaguar Land Rover standards and procedures
Requirements:
- Completion of college diploma or university degree in: Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or similar; or equivalent college/university in a technical field
- 2+ years of combined career experience as a process engineer, and as a hands-on mechanical/manufacturing/ design engineer working on mechanical and/or electromechanical systems
- Conversant with CAD Engineering systems as well as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in managing risk assessments, FMEAs, control and reaction plans for industrial automation equipment using safety standards
- Demonstrable Experience in the application of a logical approach to Problem Solving
- English language Level B1
- Flexible, Self-Motivated & Confident Team Player with integrity and discipline. Responsibility and independency
