Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Functional objectives:
The employee will actively contribute to the efficiency of the single phase of production process he/she is in charge of, in particular monitoring non-defective parts KPI (number of non-defective parts sent to next steps in production process), thus decreasing downtimes periods related to plant stoppage cases. He/she is asked for a diligent use of the machine and must control the quality of (semi)finished products/pieces and their correct packaging. He/she will work under the control of the team manager / shift supervisor.  

Main Skills:
- No experience is required (yet it would be a plus)
- German language (able to speak, listen and write)
- Problem solving Team working - The employee is able to work together to achieve a common goal and to propose hir/her own ideas. The employee does not run away from conflicts and admits mistakes
- Proactive approach and ability to improve production standards and implement lean topics
- Target oriented
- Autonomy and decision making Suitable for (and eventualy aware of) lean production method  

Main technical tasks:
- Use / monitoring of assigned machines
- Recognize machine malfunctions and give an immediate alert to supervisors
- Manage the final check  in accordance with given instructions and specific product categories
- Be proactive in giving suggestions to improve the production process and give support for their implementation
- Set up security for each setting and workstation, according to standard procedures
