Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Capacity management and Lifecycle planning for Unix based OS systems (AIX, Solaris), Windows, ESX VMWARE, Linux.
- Monitoring of Systems utilization and capacity planning (all aspects for CPU, memory, IO, Disk, etc).
- Applying Systems performance metrics for Unix based systems, ESX/VMware, and x86 based systems.

- 5+ years of related IT experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications.
- Expert in capacity planning modeling and availability analysis.
- Experience in planning the resource requirements for systems under development.
- Understanding of software licensing structures in large scale data centers.
- Understanding of business issues on an enterprise-wide basis.
- Understanding of Network IP structure knowledge.
- Experience with Vrops, IBM CPT, VMturbo monitoring tools and Bluecat network tools is a plus.
- Capability to adapt to change and heavy workloads.
- Capability to handle well a stress environment and reprioritizations.
- Independent personality with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications.
