Job description, responsibilities and duties
We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive Company in the Nitra region. We are hiring for the position of Operations leader of quality system/ Metrology Leader.
Main Responsibilities:
•Subject Matter expert on site for the Quality Operating System (QOS) Manufacturing QOS (MQOS procedures & TS16949 standard), Statistical Process Control, Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis and Integrated Production System Quality Assurance tasks across the plant.
• Planning, arranging and as required carrying out TS Audits throughout all plant areas, including production and indirect areas.
•Responsible for developing and delivering the Metrology Control plan for the plant
• Lead a team of skilled Inspectors to ensure that all scheduled control plan checks, and required investigations (e.g. dimensional quality investigations) are achieved
• Responsible for overseeing the performance of the plant Quality Performance management System (MES)
•To be the plant lead for external (e.g. VCA) audit planning and facilitation to gain and maintain the company accreditation.
• Driving efficiencies and best practices within the plant metrology area
• Report on plant status for MQOS non conformances and corrective action status to plant management team and company quality records.

• Experience in procedure adherence, control and auditing in a manufacturing environment (e.g.TS- 16949, APQP, SPC, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans)

• Engineering Degree in relevant discipline
• Experience in leading teams in a manufacturing environment
• Good statistical and numerical reasoning skills
• Ability to lead cross functional teams
• Problem Solving skills
• Significant experience in a similar role
