Job description, responsibilities and duties
We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive Company in the Nitra region. We are hiring for the position of Paint Technical Maintenance Leader.
The maintenance area is an integrated function of manufacturing within Paint Operations. The team is responsible for the upkeep of all paint facilities and related processes that are required to ensure that the production team can produce vehicles that meet and exceed the business' safety, quality, delivery, cost and people requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing people from various teams (Manufacturing, Maintenance and AME) to ensure the successful and timely delivery of activities associated to the development and upkeep of paint application equipment
• Responsible for the management, development and implementation of appropriate training packages
• Team responsibility for Controls Engineers, Robot Engineers and Conveyor Engineers
• Ability to implement change and processes effectively, as well as to coach and develop manufacturing and maintenance to achieve the operational requirements of paint operations
• Develop operating methods in assisting manufacturing and maintenance personnel in identifying and resolving process control, control network and instrumentation concerns
• Make and install recommendations on improvements, best practice, maintenance and standardisation of PLC. Develop and maintain PLC and HMI programming standards and guidelines
• Control and manage the usage and procurement route of spares in conjunction with stores personnel
• Develop and manage an external support service that will respond to breakdown situations and planned service contracts
• To provide technical direction and leadership to supervisors and engineers to meet equipment uptime and people development objectives

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field
• Significant experience as a technical leader of Maintenance Process Robotic Engineers and Conveyor Engineers
• Strong skills with PLC’s, Ladder Logic & programming
• Electro-mechanical experience and have had prior working experience with robots in a high volume manufacturing environment
• Experience of working on both electrical and mechanical breakdowns (preference for electrical)
• Working knowledge and high level of technical, mechanical and automotive engineering skills in a Paint Application environment
• Knowledge of Durr Robotics, paint systems, chemical / effluent plants, Control systems and PLC’s.
• Excellent problem solving skills / six sigma experience would be advantageous
• Business proficient in English
•Willingness to undertake international travel
• Significant experience as a technical leader of Maintenance Process Robotic Engineers and Conveyor Engineers
