We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive Company in the Nitra region. We are hiring for the position of Programme Support Office - Project Manager

The Project Management Office acts as the cross programme management team across all work streams relating to the build of a new manufacturing facility. The wider team comprises the PMO Director, taskforce (resolving issues and incubating projects), vehicle line integration and the Programme Support Office (PSO).

Main Responsibilities:

• To implement and enforce the standardised programme controls and PMO tools for project, that enable the functions to deliver on time and to budget
• To manage the flow of communication, escalating any risks to the successful delivery of the project
• Act as the gateway between the embedded PMOs in country and the programme leadership
• Manage overall programme timing schedule and associated communication documents
• Prepare for and lead regular review meetings, tracking actions and developing standard reporting
• Track project deliverables, driving actions within functions and manage the reporting of progress against BCDS (Business Creation and Delivery System) deliverables
• Support the assumptions / change, risks and issues processes
• Be a key interface with external parties, sharing knowledge and managing the lessons learned process

Personality requirements and skills

• Project management experience on large, complex infrastructure projects, ideally in Slovakia
• Meticulous administration, organisation and planning skills
• A high level of analytical ability, clear thinking and negotiation skills and ability to articulate key messages to seniors clearly
• Strong commercial awareness, business skills and acumen
• A good understanding of current economic, technological, cultural and political factors and their relation to company, the industry, and market place
• Experience operating within a technical organisation and matrix structure
• High energy levels, self-motivation, ability to deliver with minimum supervision, determination to succeed regardless roadblocks encountered during the project and natural drive to seek solutions
• Be able to build a strong cross functional network with influence beyond own function via relationship building
• Proven ability to exercise discretion and deal with sensitive and confidential information
• Enthusiasm and drive, commitment and confidence to achieve goals of team and self
• The ability to support programmes to drive change
• Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills including MS PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Educated to Degree level
• Experience in leading and developing teams
• Business Proficient in English
