We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive Company in the Nitra region. We are hiring for the position of Senior Launch Leader.
The Launch organisation has responsibility for leading all launch activities into the Nitra plant, through co-ordination of all business functions. The objective is to achieve flawless product launches, on time, to cost, achieving quality targets and delivering to the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This requires interaction & co-ordination of Manufacturing, Product Development, Purchasing, Suppliers and the Marketing, Sales & Service activities.
Main Responsibilities:
• Role model a ‘Safety and Customer 1st’ mindset within the team at all times
• Lead, supervise, develop capability of and deploy the product launch team (Product Coaches) and technical launch team (Technical Coaches)
• Lead planning and delivery of vehicle build events alongside the Launch programme and Launch planning & Workforce readiness teams
• Responsible for the definition, coordination and delivery of robust training plans for production associates on Trim and Final assembly build processes to ensure the team is ready for production
• Responsible for driving the team’s performance via departmental scorecard
• Support virtual series builds to ensure parts, processes are designed for assembly, identify potential improvements and concerns to manufacturing metrics, challenge and escalate where appropriate
• Demonstrate a strong understanding and drive use of practical problem solving tools (e.g. 8D) to track and solve build issues

• Ability to work off site at alternative locations, including overseas for periods of 4-12 weeks during launch phases
• Business proficient in English – verbal and written
• Understanding of vehicle quality and its impact to customers and our business
