Job description, responsibilities and duties

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive Company in the Nitra region. We are hiring for the position of Manufacturing Quality Operating System (MQOS) Leader as part of the Plant Quality department.

Main Responsibilities:

- Subject matter expert on site for the Quality Operating System (QOS) Manufacturing QOS (MQOS procedures & TS16949 standard), Statistical Process Control, Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis and Integrated Production System Quality Assurance tasks across the plant
- Lead coach and motivate a small technical team
- Planning, arranging and as required carrying out TS Audits throughout all plant areas, including production and indirect areas
- Responsible for overseeing the performance of the Plant Quality Performance Management System (MES)
- Report on plant status for MQOS non-conformances and corrective action status to plant management team and company quality records
- To be the plant lead for external (e.g. VCA) audit planning and facilitation to gain and maintain the company accreditation
- Concern, definition and problem analysis will be an integral part of the job, as will liaison with Company Quality Coaches and audit teams to ensure continued compliance to company and plant level procedures

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

- Experience in procedure adherence, control and auditing in a manufacturing environment (e.g.TS-16949, APQP, SPC, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans)
- Experience in leading teams in a manufacturing environment
- Good statistical and numerical reasoning skills
- Ability to lead cross functional teams
- Ability to collect, collate and communicate data effectively to all levels within the Company is essential
- Proven Problem Solving skills
- Familiarity within automotive manufacturing certification processes (e.g. TS) is desirable
- Experience with Lean and continuous improvement tools is desirable
- Business Proficient in English
- Willingness to undertake international travel
