Job description, responsibilities and duties

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive Company in the Nitra region. We are hiring for the position of HR Administrator.

The HR Administrator is a key member of the local HR team – delivering HR administrative objectives for site set-up and continuation into business as usual. The HR Administrator will provide administration and co-ordination support to the Slovakia HR Team in delivering excellent customer service and key business processes. The HR Administrator will support the Head of HR in Slovakia in all administrative activities related to the Programme (set up) and the Plant.


Main Responsibilities:

- Drives process improvements in all administrative activities
- Maintains Human Resources records, data entry, production and analysis of departmental reports using relevant systems including HRMI Systems, Time & Attendance Systems, and Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets etc.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.)
- Regular generation of reports and ad-hoc enquiries from HR Systems for the Slovakia HR Team.
- Dealing with general correspondence e.g. letters, e-mails, telephone calls and responding where appropriate.
- Training of Slovakia HR Team Members in relation to all activities involving HR systems and admin processes
- Coordination of all activities and logistics relating to Slovakia HR Team Meetings and Conferences
- Under the direction of the Recruitment team, coordination of all Senior Recruitment activities including arranging interviews, room bookings and visitor bookings
- Communicate with public authorities when necessary (health and social insurance and tax authorities)
- Orients new employees by providing orientation information packs; reviewing Company policies; gathering withholding and other payroll information; explaining and obtaining signatures for benefit programs

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Candidate Requirements:

- HR Admin experience and experience of working in a support capacity to Senior Management teams and wider department
- High level of organisation and flexibility of approach
- Strong English Language skills - verbal and written
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills; ability to proactively liaise with internal teams and external organisations
- Ability to develop effective working relationships and work as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of integrity and confidentiality. Experience in dealing with confidential matters, and able to exercise strict discretion
- Ability to prioritise, work to tight deadlines, adapt to and negotiate varying demands of department
- Strong computer literacy/competence; advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Mail is desirable
- Planning and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of the Labour Code
