Job description, responsibilities and duties

For our client – one of the most successful companies worldwide – we are looking for an IT Program Manager. The role is based in Bratislava and requires no regular travelling. I tis an individual contributor role with huge impact on the organisation from within, with exciting and challenging tasks and senior responsibility – the demand is appropriatelly awarded.

Main responsibilities:

- Managing software implementation and migration projects within financial operations including time & attendance tools, new launches, efficiency projects and many more
- The main goal of the role is to: increase automation within various software tools. You will need to work with 3rd party vendors and partner departments to develop, test and implement the automation
- Working with several project teams across the globe, you will cooperate with various virtual team and report directly to the company headquaters in the US
- Working consistently on implementation of new solutions within tools used in financial operations, ensuring continuous development of the IT software infrastructure within the segment
- Preparing strategies, presenting proposals to Business Unit managers and the board of managers, selling your solutions to the Business line
- Related ad hoc tasks

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Personality requirements and skills

Requirements:
- Relevant experience in a Project/Program Management role
- Extensive experience with software development projects
- Technical background, ability to understand the scope of work of programmers, testers and developers
- Ability to communicate with technical and nontechnical individuals effectively
- Goal driven personality, highly organized
- Fluency in English language (Slovak not needed)
- Six Sigma and/or project management certification (Prince, PMP or equivalent) is preferred
- Knowledge of financial software or platforms desired
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies, SCRUM, Waterfall
