Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for candidates for the position Network/Server Administrator. Our client is a global provider for complex and integration solutions in IT field. The subsidiary is located in Košice.

Main responsibilities

- Administrating Citrix XenApp server and Microsoft OS issues, processing server problems:
- Operational support and implementation of Citrix products
- Managing, installing and supporting Windows 2003/2008, Citrix Provisioning and Citrix Web Interface servers
- Application operation duties - plan out monitoring of services, create scripts for repetitive/maintenance work
- Designing solutions and supporting application servers and webservers such as Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, Weblogic, and middleware on windows platform
- Cooperation with project teams, including full technical responsibility towards corporate customers, creating documentation and guidelines, other operational tasks

Desired skills and experience

- Knowledge and professional experience in: Citrix XenApp and Presentation Server, administration of terminal based services, Windows server services, network services, Microsoft Active Directory, Group
Policy as well as VMware ESX, creating and analyzing shell scripts
- Understanding the concept of network security
- Microsoft Windows/Citrix Certification is an advantage
- Communication skills, team work, flexibility - wiliness to work on call duty and public holidays in cases of emergency
- Language skills: advanced in English AND German
