Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for candidates for the position of Web Application Database Developer/Admin. Our client is a global provider of telecommunication services based in Bratislava. We are looking for members of a new team, who will be working on implementation project of developing Pricing Portal Application used by 2000 users worldwide.
Main responsibilities
- Providing support and expertise on development of the web application portal
- Working within a team under the supervision of Project Manager on tasks assigned by Business Analysts, providing all related documentation
- Data administration: checking data integrity and model development
- Backup processes maintenance: managing processes, resolving possible problems
- Database optimization and tuning, reporting maintenance
Desired skills and experience
- University degree in IT or related field
- 3+ years of experience with maintaining, developing and tuning databases
- Expertise in Windows Server 2010 environment, SQL server 2008 R2 coding & administration
- Prefferably expertise in: SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio for SSIS development
- Fluency in English - business language
