Job description, responsibilities and duties
Attention C & LINUX enthusiasts in Bratislava! Our client is a leader in IP technologies market. We are looking for a suitable candidate for Junior Software tester of operating systems of hardware products.
You will need:
- to become an expert in a number of specific areas and get a good overview of all functionality within our client's product
- to be in close contact with the software developers and the support teams
- to fully test all aspects of your features and develop test scripts
- to understand the challenges of a real-time operating system and have a feeling for weaknesses in software and hardware designs
- to be creative in order to simulate complex real-live situations and overcome any constraints
Requirements:
- Knowledge of procedural programming and understanding of algorithms (expect tests on the interview)
- Advanced skills as Linux user, accompanied by
- Experience with scripting in Linux (any of BASH, TCL, Python or other)
- Advanced level of programming in plain C language
- Understanding of IP protocol family and routing
- fluent English (interview in English language)
