Java/J2EE Developer with English in Switzerland

We are looking for Java/J2EE Developers for one of our most dynamic customers in Switzerland! As a Development Engineer, you will be integrated in our client’s development department. In a small team, you will be involved in the complete life cycle of projects from the requirements’ definition to the development of the end product, going through the technical and architectural choices.

Main responsibilities:

Your developments will contribute to the creation and the optimization of different client‘s tools & processes, for example:
Handling of high volume data feeds
Decision support tool for our clients
Automation of back office banking processes
Banking statement generation
Graphs analysis

You will need to:
Participate actively in the technical choices of the projects you will be involved in
Create efficient and reliable code
Provide support on the applications to our client’s internal and external users
Keep yourself up-to-date on the leading edge technologies in order to contribute to the technical choices of the department

Requirements:

Education: Master degree (in Software development/Computer Sciences)
Experience: minimum of 6 months experience to maximum of 8 years of experience
Age: 35 years old maximum
Language: English - C1, French is an asset

Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE development Spring framework, Hibernate, Maven, Junit, PL/SQL, Oracle, XML, Eclipse IDE
Strong interest in technical choices (design, architecture…)
Experience with high performance & multi-threaded applications
Ability to work both in team and autonomously
Excellent command of Unix/Linux systems

Contract type:Permanent employment contract according to Swiss law
