Senior Software Developer

We are looking for suitable candidate on Senior Software Development Engineer position for our client focused on developing IT Products.Our client’s development centre in Bratislava, Slovakia is focused on developing solutions for mobile and IP networks. The centre is a part of an international group, working together with teams in Antwerp, Belgium and Silicon Valley, USA. Developed hi-tech products are ranking in leading position on the IP technologies market worldwide.

What’s the job
- development and evolution of IP routers

What’s the goal
- to develop features that will evolve the IP router products using real-time environment programming,
- to collaborate with the test team to deliver your features with exceptional quality and to maintain it during its lifetime cycle
- to be in close contact with the quality assurance engineers and the support teams
- to understand the challenges of real-time SW design for high availability systems
- be able to cope with the responsibility of delivering a feature you committed to

You can apply for this position if you:

- have 2+ years of experience with and understanding of procedural programming

in C in Linux Environment
- have an experience with basic scripts in Linux (command line)
- have an experience with versioning systems (CVS, SVN, GIT or other)
- understand and have some experience with threads, pipes, semaphores
- are familiar with IP protocol family and routing

You’ll speed up the contact if you’ve also done

- some scripting in Linux with understanding of regular expressions
- programming while taking into account hardware basics, boot process, memory structure
- have experience in software debugging
