Senior Java J2EE Developer

We are looking for candidates for the position Senior Java Developer. Our client is an US company making a boom in Europe with a great potential to grow and provide high class products and solutions in media market worldwide. Main responsibilities

- Providing solutions for design and functionalities of products used by thousands of people worldwide
- As part of development team, you will participate in the process of creation of the products, you will use your previous hands on experience with Java J2EE and get familiar with new technologies
- Using creativity and own ideas in order to contribute to the outcome of the company

Desired skills and experience

- University degree in Computer science, Mathematics or related field OR equivalent experience
- Familiarity and background in algorithms, data structures and design patterns
- 5+ years of experience in software development and at least 3 years of J2EE development
- Expertise in: Java, J2EE, Spring and Hibernate frameworks
- Advanced knowledge of SQL or Oracle

Considered as a plus

- Scripting in Perl/Python/Bash
- Unix OS administration
- JVM languages (Groovy, Scala), NoSQL (Cassandra)
- Cloud technologies – AWS, Rackspace
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Distributed software configuration management
