We are looking for IT administrator and backup recovery manager for our client based in Trencin region.



Responsibilities and duties:

- Mapping, describing and maintaining all information relevant to the information systems (at file, database and virtual machine levels) and/or other matters, in order to be able to recover the environment

- Taking care of the production of backups, including backup and recovery procedures, for all the information systems in a company

- Recovering environments at individual file, database and virtual machine levels or entire infrastructure environments

- Developing, maintaining and providing operational management for backup and recovery processes

- Managing and implementing the backup/restore application(s)

- Documenting all matters relating to backup and recovery, such that fellow administrators can also implement them

- Drawing up, implementing and maintaining an IT disaster recovery plan to be run once a year and delivered such that it is fully operational in accordance with the SLA

- Assisting functional administrators when performing acceptance tests on recovered environments





Is responsible for:

The quality of the work assigned such as:

- Proper recovery instructions for fellow administrators

- Quickly and adequately remedying disruptions and calamities relating to the above duties

Promptly and correctly following up oral and written work, quality and safety instructions

Adhering to administrative procedures and organisation as well as correct and reliable registration and timely reporting

Actively improving one's own development

Taking care of and making all kinds of backups, according to the timing agreed, such that stored data can be recovered





Is authorised to:

Update applications concerning the above tasks

Assign authorisation concerning the above tasks

Initiate any improvements desired



Job requirements:

Educated in ICT with application training courses on backup/recovery

Experience with storage (NAS/SAN/iSCSI)/networks/archiving and virtualisation technologies

Experience with disaster recovery methodologies

Experience with database systems

Knowledge of enterprise processes and procedures

A service-oriented and quality-aware mindset

Good oral and written English language skills



Salary range:

1000 - 1300
