Delphi programmer

We are searching independent contractor. We offer contract for 9 months, may be extended later (employment for a fixed period of time may be possible, too, but it is not preferred)
Task description
• Transform a big desktop application (300.000+ lines of code) written in Delphi into a mobile application (iOS and Android) using the Delphi FireMonkey framework.
• The application has a long history (some part of the code are about 25 years old) and it has undergone several ports from an older Pascal-based environment into a newer one (from Turbo Pascal into Borland Pascal for Windows, then into Delphi/VCL) and currently is in the process of porting from Delphi/VCL into Delphi/FireMonkey for desktop (key parts are transformed at this moment).
• Branches ported into Lazarus/WindowsCE and Lazarus/Embedded Linux exists, too (and they may be used as sources of ideas for the mobile development).
• In principle the work will be done based on specifications made by CMA, but an important part of the task is to cooperate in the process of precising the specifications and providing expertise about technical feasibility of the proposed specifications.
