C# software developer for international company

International company Adacta (www.adacta-group.com) is looking for new developers eager to work in environment based around Microsoft technologies. We are looking for highly self-motivated engineers, which keen on good principles of sustainable software development. We appreciate people with strong emphasis on solid object oriented development, that are able to take part in day-to-day debates about desired solutions to the problems we are facing.

Role description

You’ll be part of a Core team, that is located in Brno and its main aim is to analyse and create new features for product called AdInsure. AdInsure product is client-server application used in multiple insurrance companies accross Europe.

Main responsibilities for this role include:

- Analysis of newly developed tasks and subsequent decomposition.

- Development new new features - preferably with TDD aproach.

- Discussions with other team members about proposed solutions.

- Communication with business analysts and other members of Core team.

- Writing automated tests, that cover newly developed functionality.


Required experience

- English on communicative level,

- Experience with .Net stack - C#, WPF, WinForms, WCF.

- Experience with SQL.

- Ability to take part in daily discussions about design of newly developed features and being able to argue about pros and cons of various solutions.

- Experience with development in Visual Studio IDE.

- Experience with SVN versioning system.

- At least two years experience in a software development role.

Nice to have

- Experience with agile software development methods.

- Experience with Oracle database.

- Web development experience, preferably with use of ASP MVC.

- Experience with continous-integration tools like TeamCity, Jenkins or similar.

- Knowledge of some .Net related testing framework like NUnit or xUnit and or mocking framework like Moq or Rhino Mocks.

- Experience in QA role in software development environment.
