WHAT WILL
YOU DO

The Tactical Buy Lead & Demand Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the Tactical Buy delivery team with a view to ensure that Client productivity and turn-around targets are met and/or exceeded. As single point of contact of the Tactical Team for the Client, the Tactical Buy Lead and Demand Manager must appropriately manage client projects/requests and should look for efficiencies when channeling the workload within the team.

Operational Roles’ Duties and Responsibilities
The Tactical Buy Lead & Demand Manager will translate the client expectations and requirement into deliverables and will serve as the coordinator of the Tactical Buy delivery team in the execution of the following tasks:

• Demand strategy definition/implementation and Demand Management:
o Serve as single point of entry for the Client to leverage Tactical Program
o Serve as Liaison between Client’s internal Stakeholders & Tactical Buying Team
o Operates as Quality checker for deliverables
o Develop Demand Management and Compliance Management Plan
o Lead Stakeholders requirements gathering – general requirements, planned spend or high value / problematics transaction specific
o Identify and Evaluate Opportunities and analyze the Forecast Demand per User, Department, Category, Plant
o Channel the workload towards the competent team (i.e. Tactical Buying Team)
o Lead direct negotiation with Vendor/provide negotiations support as requested according to the complexity of the purchase
o Prioritize and find creative solutions to meet timelines and cost targets
o Create and Manage Tactical Buy Pipeline
o Analyze Reports & Provide Insights and Recommendations

• User/Function Performance and Compliance Management:
o Collect and Analyze User/Function Performance Data
o Conduct User/Function Performance Meetings
o Provides advice to Accenture’s business/client units and project teams on policy compliance matters
o Maintain Issue and Risk log. Follow up on open items to drive on-time closure
o Capture minutes of the meeting from the status calls and share with key stakeholders
o Identifies and escalates non-compliance issues to appropriate Category Manager/client process owner
o Act as a liaison between the client, project team and/or business unit

Productivity and Service Level Agreements Management:
o Manage the Tactical Buy delivery team on day to day basis i.e. support with issue resolution, risks mitigation, provide guidance and negotiation support when required
o Ensure attainment to Service Level Agreements and KPI i.e. turn-around-time, productivity deliverable, quality of work delivered by Tactical Buy delivery team
o Report to client representative on regular governance calls on Tactical Buy performance and buying pipeline (i.e. productivity/country, issues and risks, improvement plans actions)
o Work closely with PMA Team to support reporting deliverables and ensure correctness and consistency of data
o Propose improvement actions, discuss feasibility with Client Service Delivery Lead and manage the plans to closure
General Roles’ Duties and Responsibilities
o Develop working relationships, solve conflict situations within the team immediately when they occur
o Utilize the full potential of the team
o Regular team meetings to provide updates on processes, HR related matters, operations
o Create positive working atmosphere
o Vacation/absence planning
o Integration of new joiners (regular status check, creation of training plan, accesses to all required tools and systems, coordination of buddy)
o Organize the work of team members, set priorities, break down complex tasks into logical parts, proactively solve issues and look for solutions
o Check whether the time estimates, work plans and schedules are realistic
o Be familiar with HR policies and procedures such as: taking of sick days and day off for public holiday, dress code policy, working time, flex-work policy, vacation planning, new joiner’s integration, etc.
o Take ownerships and responsibility for following all policies
o Communication of company decisions in line with the official statement of Accenture

Talent management Roles’ Duties and Responsibilities:

o Explanation of Performance Achievement process to team members
o Lead the team to be proactive in setting priorities, requesting feedback and documenting self-input
o Recognize high performance and positive behaviors on a day-to-day basis (e.g. via personalized email, oral recognition, thank you email; incentive pay bonus for achievements above standard job duties and responsibilities)
o Provide regular and constructive feedback to team members
o Regular 1:1 meetings with team members to check development plans and career aspirations
o Managing low performers - creation of improvement plan, involvement of HR People Advisor when employee is not progressing
o Create and manage backup planning and succession planning
o Be familiar with promotion rules and suggest promotions to responsible manager in case of discrepancy between current role/level and performed activities
o Be familiar with Local Training curriculum to be able to select appropriate training actions for individuals
o Creating and supporting opportunities for building skills to execute current and future responsibilities

• Strong Team player with great social skills, interacting freely between internal team and client functions
• Strong communication Skills
• Experience developing, negotiating and maintaining contractual relationships with clients and suppliers
• Strong client facing and relationship building experience
• Demonstrated experience in developing strategic plans
• Strong program management experience
• Experience identifying issues and coordinating cross-functional resources to meet common goals
• Bachelors/University Degree
